Match perfection foundation; friend or foe?

Hi guys! For a long time now I was running out of my Rimmel 'Wake me up' foundation and I desperately needed a new one. As that foundation has tiny sparkles in it, as the package says, it more or less 'wakes' your face up. It's great for the summer, but not so much for the winter. I'd heard so many mixed reviews on the Rimmel 'match perfection' foundation but regardless, I thought I'd have a try of it.

103 True Ivory.

The first thing I noticed about this foundation is the price, now at £6.99 in Boots you can't really go wrong, right? The shade range is extremely surprising as most foundations don't go as light as this, however this allows incredibly pale people to be able to purchase this product. As the title suggests, there is a lot of variety therefore it should be easier to match your skin tone. This foundation has absolutely no shimmer to it at all meaning that its suitable for all year round, as well as having an SPF 18 which is very handy in the summer. I noticed that as a lot of reviews have stated, the coverage is sheer however as it has a light and liquidy formula it's easy to build for a higher coverage. Unfortunately, if you're normally in a rush on a morning and only have time for one coat of foundation and you need a higher coverage, I wouldn't recommend this as to get a higher coverage, it is time consuming. Aside from that, I am fond of this foundation and will be re-purchasing!

What is your current foundation?
