Hi guys! Today I wanted to show you my recent MAC wishlist because since Christmas, I've had my eye on a couple of products that I would really like to purchase. As I know MAC is a popular brand amongst the beauty bloggers, I thought I would share them with you all.
Recently I've been loving the YouTuber velvetgh0st (who also has a blog here), and in a lot of her tutorials she uses this paintpot from mac which is a nude base for your eyeshadow. When she uses this, it blocks out the veins visible on her eyelids and it just creates a very subtle yet pretty nude base for her eyeshadow. Since the veins in my eyelids are quite prominent, I really want to try this out and see how it looks.
2. Clear brow set.
I use Charcoal Brown eyeshadow from MAC on my eyebrows and generally, I find that throughout the day the eyeshadow tends to fade and by the end of the day it just looks like I didn't bother to fill them in in the first place. Therefore, I am wondering whether or not to try out the clear brow set from MAC as I've heard great reviews on it and once it's on, it keeps your eyebrows in place all day.
3. Omega eyeshadow.
I know that a lot of make-up artists and YouTubers use Omega eyeshadow on their eyebrows if they happen to have a lighter colour hair or if they just want a more natural look to their eyebrows. However, as this is a matte shade I think that it would be a good shade for in the crease of your eye and blended out for if I wanted a subtle smoky eye effect.
4. Peach Blossom lipstick.
As the warmer months are slowly creeping upon us, I feel like it is also slowly becoming more acceptable to wear slightly brighter lipsticks than usual. I don't own many bright lipsticks that are suitable for the spring and summer time, however when I was doing some online shopping I came across the shade Peach Blossom. As the title suggests, the shade is a peach toned pink and looks very suitable for the warm months however, not quite as bright as a bold fuchsia lip.
5. Coffee eye pencil.
Lately I've found that my current eye liner doesn't stay on for very long and I find myself looking in the mirror half way through the day questioning myself if I had even bothered with eye liner that morning. However, I've heard plenty of reviews saying that this eye pencil has excellent pigmentation and stays on for a while, so why not give it a whirl?
I thought I would also mention that I've started a new Instagram dedicated to my blog where you will be updated on a new blog post so if you would like to give it a follow, the name is JustTaylorx.
