My skincare routine

Hi guys! I really can't believe it's March already, it feels like I haven't sat down and wrote a blogpost in a while actually. Lately I've been topping up my skincare routine as beforehand I never really had one I suppose, however I then realised how bad makeup wipes are for your skin. Woops. A lot of bloggers preach how having a constant skincare routine is so important in order to keep your skin looking radiant and healthy. I have to admit, I never used a makeup remover before this and only used wipes that do absolutely nothing to benefit your skin. However, I decided to change this and I've gotten into a routine that couldn't work better for my skin and I thought I would show you all!

First I use the Caudalie makeup remover cleansing water on a large cotton pad and swipe it across my skin to remove all of the makeup off of my skin. I love this because as the title suggests, it's water based therefore it is incredibly light on my skin and I don't feel the need to go and wash my face again after I have used this like I used to when I used a cream removing product. It also has quite a light refreshing scent to it which I personally enjoy, however if you are not a fan of scented products I wouldn't recommend this.

Secondly, if I have any spots I put some of the Benefit boo boo zap onto my finger and put it over the spot. Just like the previous product, this product is water based and you have to put your finger over the end of the tube and tip it upside down (with your finger still over the top) and back upright again so that the product goes onto your finger. Obviously, you will need to have clean hands for this so if you prefer you can just use a cotton bud. However, I prefer to use my finger as I find it gets a lot more of the product onto my finger therefore it clears my spot more effectively.

Lastly, I use the Simple kind to skin purifying cleansing lotion. I use this as a moisturiser as I find I can dab a pea sized blob of it on different sections of my face, rub it in and it leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft. I tend to use this on mornings and nights because certain areas on my face go quite dry therefore before I apply my base makeup, I have to moisturise so that my foundation doesn't stick to the dry parts and makes my face look patchy.

Do you use any of these products? If not, please comment below suggesting any products that you use because I would love to try out new ones.
